Magkwento daw ako
Maraming nagsasabi magkwento daw ako. Okay then, makapagkwento nga.
I’m of legal age since last month and I can go clubbing and drinking too. But I chose not to. I don’t want hang-overs since I know what it feels to have a really whoozy light-headed feeling from migraine. Clubbing? Tsk! Like I can dance. After my birthday, the next day is my first day as Year 12. Got lots of gifts in my birthday, mostly jewelries and money. Good! I became a student mentor for Year 11s for two weeks. Seen my friends again, seen the classroom, seen the Hall, seen the Cafeteria (and bought an ice cream early in the morning). I got my eyebrows fixed! Hehee! Hindi na sila, ika nga ni mama, "sabog". Mahirap nga lang ipagpatuloy sa ganoong hitsura.
Last Friday night, my aunt and uncle took my sister and me to a late musical show called "Manila by Night". It was… interesting. Surprising since quite a number of Aussies came to the show. There were Filipinos with them so they, kind of, understood. The leading singer shows them the different costumes found in Phils. One that I can remember is the "bahag" in the northern province. She said that there are still some men who wears "g-strings" but since its a modern technical world, there’s a cellphone hanging from their "g-strings". And another one is the Maria Clara costume, or the "Tandang Sora". She said that it was only worn by virgins. And she showed the Aussies why. Under the skirt is layers of petticoats that’s why men lost interest after a matter of time. Hahaha!
There is this singer who told us the jeist of the song for Aussies like "Hanggang sa dulo ng Walang hanggan" is about a man madly in lvoe with a woman but that woman is in love with another man. Then an aussie next to our table said, "Hey that’s my life!" And it’s really funny because those Aussies are really interactive since they cheer the singers like "Go Mindanao!" or something, I forgot. Really, man! If you were there, you’d really laugh out loud nang ‘mapa-ihi kayo’ ika nga ng babaeng singer. I know her name, but I won’t say.
Right now, I reading a Visual Arts book, finding out all I can about Surrealism since this will be my topic for my assessment and artworks. Hmm… and there’s this book I need to read since I’ll be asked questions about it in the Citizenship Test. But since it’s still on April… set it aside.
Did I ever tell you that I miss ‘Manggat’ Bagoong"? Or Suman? Or multi-coulored "Puto"? I do. Is it really true about the story in Mall of Asia? There are so many questions unanswered. There are so many mysteries of the world. So to relieve your stress why not go to my deviantArt?
